PVM Austin Reference Buck

Our Myotonic ( Fainting ) goat bucks have been carefully selected for overall health and well-being, temperament, and conformation. These traits traits are important to us and our future as we improve our herd with each generation.

We keep a large selection of breeding bucks to retain herd diversity, but also limit exposure of our bucks to outside herds. Maintaining a herd free of disease is our top priority. Our herd consists of a mixture of horned, polled, and disbudded registered Myotonic bucks.

Every one of our boys can be handled & led on a leash where we want them to go. We prefer our bucks friendly, but not overly so. Each is trained to lead, tie, and stand for brushing, hoof trimming, vaccinations and other routine care.

Bucks are maintained on pasture 24/7, with access to free choice shelter and feed. We believe in retaining the natural ability to forage, the common sense to seek shelter, and the overall health and hardiness of this breed.
